Ozark Floating Policies

All float trip reservations, at Ozark Outdoors, are subject to the following:

  • Advance payment in full is required to confirm ALL reservations. Until paid in their entirety, all Missouri float trip reservations are tentative, and subject to management cancellation, making the services available for other guest use.
  • Cancellation, in part or whole, must be made at least eight (8) days prior to your “scheduled arrival date” in order to receive a refund. Any reduction or cancellation within seven (7) days of your “scheduled arrival date”, in part or in whole, is non-refundable. There will be a $10.00 service fee. effective as of February 20, 2017*
  • Rainchecks will be offered for Missouri float trip reservations at Ozark Outdoors, ONLY if it is raining consistently HERE (at Ozark Outdoors) on the day of your scheduled float trip, from 8 am to Noon. If the rain quits before noon, float trips can / will be moved back until the rain stops and if river conditions are floatable—you are expected to float and NO rainchecks will be offered.
  • Check-In for your Meramec River, Huzzah River, or Courtois River begins as soon as the Meramec Mercantile opens on the day of your scheduled Missouri float trip.
  • As a courtesy to other floaters, please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled float trip departure time to get checked-in and to the float trip boarding location, so other guests do not have to wait.
  • Weekend Rates apply April September Weekday Rates will be honored most weekends, October – March, when we are open.
  • Parents and guardians are responsible for minor children.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Damages to any Ozark Outdoors property are subject to financial penalty, to be determined by management, and/or followed with prosecution to the full extent of the law.
  • Management reserves the right to make boat changes, move float locations, or to ask unruly guests to leave.
  • Ozark Outdoors cannot be responsible for guest property loss or damages, natural or unnatural while on our grounds.
  • Under NO circumstances are firearms allowed.
  • Fireworks in designated areas only.
  • Pets are allowed in our boats, NOT tubes, please keep nails clipped.
  • Do NOT tie animals of any kind to boats. Abuse of animals may result in fines and/or imprisonment. SEE ALL Pet Policies
  • Most float trips leave on top of the hour, for efficiency, and to maintain our STAY Green efforts. Please arrive at least thirty minutes in advance to complete necessary documentation.
  • All floaters must sign a release of liability waiver to receive their ticket for a river trip. 
  • Children 7 and under are required to wear a Coast Guard approved Personal Floatation Device. We strongly recommend children 12 and under wear Coast Guard approved PFD’s at Ozark Outdoors Riverfront Resort.
  • Damage to watercraft or equipment may result in minimum fines of $150.00 per damage or incident.
  • Cooler under 52 quarts in size.
  • No Styrofoam coolers or other Styrofoam containers.
  • No glass bottles or containers.
  • No nudity on or in Ozark Outdoors property.
  • No solicitation of any kind.
  • No sexual harrassment.
  • No jumping off rocks, trees, rope-swings, or bluffs.
  • No littering — Use trash bags provided.
  • No driving under the influence.
  • No overcrowding in boats, for your protection and the protection of others.
  • All floaters must be off the water before dark. Violaters will be charged a minimum of $50.00 per person for late arrivals.
  • Floaters taking out downstream must be off the water, and on Ozark Outdoors property no later than 6:00 P.M.
  • Small raft shuttles only — ***NO LARGER THAN 8X14*** — Prices set at management discretion. Applicable sales tax will apply.
  • ALLOW EXTRA FLOAT TIME FOR LONGER TRIPS AND LARGE-SIZED RAFTS.
  • We cannot guarantee inner tubes with mesh bottoms. Due to customer abuse, many of our tubes no longer have mesh.
  • If you pass the scheduled takeout location, minimum fines and/or penalities of $50.00 per person will be charged.
  • Special Event Cancellation– Cancellation, in part or whole, must be made at least thirty-one (31) days prior to your “scheduled arrival date” in order to receive a refund. Any reduction or cancellation within thirty (30) days of your “scheduled arrival date”, in part or in whole, is non-refundable.
