Green Fest and National Public Lands Day at Onondaga Cave State Park

The day's activities will center around villages that will contain a variety of topics including but not limited to educational activities, hands-on activities, vendors, displays and demonstrations, green products, local farming and sustainable living. The Onondaga Friends Association will be demonstrating the making of apple butter and freshly-canned jars will be available for sale along with many, many other vendor items. Cathedral Cave Night Tour at Onondaga Cave State Park

The Onondaga Friends Association will offer several night time tours of Cathedral Cave throughout the season. At approximately 9:15 p.m. (more specifically, immediately following the evening program), meet at the woodlot next to host site #66 in the campground. The fee for the tour will be $10 per person; reservations can be made in advance by visiting their website at www.onondagafriends.org . Spooky Cave Tours of Onondaga Cave at Onondaga Cave State Park

The Onondaga Friends Association will partner with area grottoes to host spooky cave tours of Onondaga Cave. These first-come, first-served cave tours will leave every half hour from the visitor center. The first tour begins promptly at 5 p.m. and the last tour departs at 9 p.m. If you want to pay with a debit/ credit card, you must go to the Onondaga Friends Association website to buy tickets.
